Semiconductor Automation Project Manager

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The primary purpose is to serve as a liaison between our clients and internal teams for automation in semiconductor fabs. The automation solutions use commercial MES or EI solutions. The MES solutions include FAB300, WorkStream, FACTORYworks, PROMIS, SiView, ProcessWorks, or InSite and the EI solutions include STATIONworks, Autoshell, Grapheq or CEI Toolkit. This position requires excellent communication skills and an aptitude for creatively applying technology in diverse client environments. The project manager must ensure that the delivered solution fits business requirements of the clients. As a professional services career, you work at many different customers sites thus relocation or extensive travel (US and international) is required for each assignment, which typically are between 6 months to 2 years in length.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: 1) Project planning, including management of project estimates, outlines, schedules, and budgets; 2) Manage shifting priorities, new client requests, risks and competing interests of multiple components of projects; 3) Actively participate in detailed meetings affecting the design and development of client solutions, weekly departmental meetings, and client project planning and status meetings; 4) Assist in identifying resource needs, developing action plans, timelines and agreements for the implementation of essential projects and programs; 5) Maintain detailed project logs and provide timely project summaries and provide status and financial reporting; 6) Develop strong relationships with key project sponsors and cross-functional team members; 7) Candidate must be organized and assume responsibility for end-to-end project success.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES: Over five years experience managing MES or EI automation projects in semiconductor fabs. Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage, and execute projects. Experience with Microsoft (MS) Office Professional suite (including: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required as well as interpersonal skills including effective listening and negotiation skills. Candidate must be reliable, accountable, dependable, and dedicated to the success of assigned projects with a strong work ethic and able to work autonomously. Equipment Interface Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The primary purpose of this job is to support the development of automation solutions for semiconductor fabs. The software development engineer uses commercial software tools and customer established templates to develop the interfaces. The software development engineer uses commercial software like STATIONworks, Autoshell, Grapheq or CEI Toolkit and customer established templates to create equipment interface solutions for the fab. They work with a cross-functional team to gather requirements from the semiconductor process engineers and technicians and on how the software is to function with process equipment. They must then develop and test the software to meet the requirements. As a professional services career, you work at many different customers sites thus relocation or extensive travel (US and international) is required for each assignment, which typically are between 6 months to 2 years in length.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: 1) Analyze equipment manufactures' documentation and how it uses standardized messages; 2) Map requirements from the process engineers and Technicians to the documented message standards; 3) Develop and test the integration software using a simulator; 4) Test the software in the semiconductor fab; 5) Train the technicians and engineers on the use to the software.

MES Implementation Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The primary purpose of this job is the implementation of MES solutions for semiconductor fabs. The software development engineer uses commercial software like Fab300, WorkStream, FACTORYworks, PROMIS, SiView, ProcessWorks, or InSite to implement control solutions for the fab. They work with a cross-functional team to gather requirements from the semiconductor Manufacturing Engineers on how implement or develop the solution. They must then implement, develop and test the software to meet the requirements. SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: 1) Gather requirements from the Manufacturing Engineers for the component of implementation: WIP, Data Collection, Statistical Process Control, Equipment Tracking, Specification Control and Recipe Control; 2) Map these requirements to the documented implementation standards; 3) Design, develop, unit test and implement the solution; 4) Test the solutions interactions with other components; 5) Train the Manufacturing Engineers on the use to the solution.

MES Support Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The primary purpose of this job is to support the implementation of MES solutions for semiconductor fabs. The software development engineer uses commercial software like Fab300, WorkStream, FACTORYworks, PROMIS, SiView, ProcessWorks, or InSite to implement control solutions for the fab. They work with a cross-functional team to resolve bugs and stabilize the MES implementation. They must identify the source bugs and problems as well as develop and test solutions to provide stabilization to the implementation. As a professional services career, you work at many different customers sites thus relocation or extensive travel (US and international) is required for each assignment, which typically are between 6 months to 2 years in length.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: 1) Obtain bug list from tracking system; 2) Identify bugs in MES components: WIP, Data Collection, Statistical Process Control, Equipment Tracking, Specification Control, Recipe Control; 3) Correct, test and resolve bugs; 4) Develop and test solution enhancements; 5) Train the manufacturing engineers in the use of bug fixes and solution enhancements.

ACM Test Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The primary purpose of this job is to support the testing of automation solutions for semiconductor fabs. The test engineer uses commercial software tools like SECSIM Pro or CCS Envoy to test tools at semiconductor equipment manufacture sites prior to shipment as well as at the customer site after installation. They run a select set of test sequences as prescribed by the customer and generate reports on the success or failure of the test sequence. The position requires good understanding of the SECS/GEM protocol and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. As a professional services career, you work at many different customers sites thus relocation or extensive travel (US and international) is required for each assignment, which typically are between 6 months to 2 years in length.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: 1) Analyze equipment manufactures documentation and how the SECS/GEM messages are configured; 2) Generate the test scripts to run the test scenarios; 3) Run the test scripts and interact with the equipment supplier on resolving and documenting test failure; 4) Create reports on test results and issues.
